The American Shakespeare Center has entertained and educated over 50,000 students in the Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton, since the opening in 2001.

We agree with the American Shakespeare Center’s belief that all students, regardless of financial means, should be able to experience live theater. So we want to help them make sure that the cost of a school matinee ticket is not a barrier. A donation of $16.00 will purchase a ticket for a student who, otherwise, would be left behind.

When you purchase THE BARDS’S BOTTOM DOLLAR PACKAGE a donation of $16 to purchase one student ticket will be made in your name. So enjoy your theater experience and make a difference for a child.
